opengate runs an internship programme for students in Kazakhstan. Interns work on real tasks from our own backlog, in tracks such as data and AI, software engineering, design and business development.
Interns set aside 15 to 20 hours a week alongside their studies. An internship lasts three to four months. It can be hybrid or fully remote, from anywhere in Kazakhstan.
Each week starts with a call to set goals and ends with a short written report. Every intern signs an internship agreement before starting. The internship is unpaid.
Applications are open all year on our careers page. There are no fixed intake dates: when an applicant is a good fit, the internship can start without waiting for the next semester.
