Bars, restaurants and cafés in Almaty that run their sales and stock through a POS system. Every report was assembled by hand: an accountant exported the figures from the POS into spreadsheets each time anyone needed to know how the week went.
We built the opengate F&B product end to end and advised each team on which numbers to watch. The platform reads sales, stock and supplier prices from the POS, matches invoices from a photo line by line, and puts shifts, checklists and pay on the staff's phones, with an assistant that answers questions about the venue's numbers. Managers now see tonight against last night at the same hour, and the reports that were compiled by hand update on their own.
